Environment:
Start Time: 7:05 AM Temperature: 45 degrees Sky: Hazy filtered sunshine.
Considering how dry it has been around here lately I can only assume that the haze evident this morning is from wildfires burning somewhere else. Still the light was pretty good and there was some activity along the Arkansas River. Featured is an American Kestrel who was being harassed by and defending itself from a group of Starlings. It went back and forth until the Kestrel opted to leave the area. I guess that is a Win for the Starlings. I did not see any Ospreys fishing. They spent the whole morning perching high up in the trees.
