Windy weather kept me home this morning but the evening turned out to be much more enticing and it got me out to Lake Pueblo State Park for a stroll. I only had about an hour of sunlight to work with but managed to get some keepers on the old memory card. Featured (above) and pictured here is the star of the trip – a Great Horned Owl who was quite talkative. I saw one Osprey and One Great Blue Heron as well but they were not nearly as cooperative as Mr(s) Owl.

Birds: Gulls, Ospreys, Double Crested Cormorants, Starlings, Great Blue Heron, Northern Flicker, Great Horned Owl, Wild Turkeys
Critters: Prairie Dogs, Mule Deer
