Autumn at Lake Pueblo State Park, Colorado

I don’t have much to say about today’s walk because the Autumn color I captured pretty much says it all. The leaves aren’t fully committed to Autumn but that is definitely the direction in which they are headed. Pictured here is a Wild Sunflower bloom that must have missed a memo. One birding note – I spotted my first Dark-eyed Juncos of the season – a sure sign of the coming weather changes.

Sightings:
Birds: Mallards, Osprey, European Starlings, Killdeer, Canada Geese, Ring-billed Gulls, American Robins, Red-winged Blackbirds, White-crowned Sparrows, pied-billed Grebe, Dark-eyed Juncos, Belted Kingfisher, Bushtits
Critters: Cabbage White Butterfly, Grasshoppers, Mule Deer

Gear: Panasonic Lumix GH4, Olympus Digital Zuiko 14-54mm
