Not much to write about today. I left my birding kit at home and showed up with my scenic and landscape rig. I was hoping the Sun would burn off the pesky clouds but it did not really succeed. I’m afraid that most of the leaves are a bit past prime and were not real spectacular in the poor light. I did get one bird – a Great Blue Heron perched pretty far away on a sort of colorful tree.

Birds: Mallards, Canada Geese, Common Sandpiper, Gulls, Starlings, Great Blue Heron, Dark-eyed Juncos
Critters: Cabbage White Butterflies, Mule Deer
