Warm sunny afternoons are back in vogue it seems. All the pictures posted today really were shot today – even though they look a lot like the images in the last couple of posts. At least no Great Blue Heron. But the colors are still pretty good and there are still some leaves that have yet to join the party. The featured image is two Great Horned Owls that I found nestled in some of the better leaves which were greatly enhanced by the setting sunlight. Below is a closeup of one of those owls who was making it a little easier on me – even giving me a look.
