With the activity at Lake Pueblo State Park being generally low I decided to try out a new 400mm lens – just for fun. The challenge with this lens is that it is manual focus only. Not fun. Even so, I managed to bring home a few post-able (but kinda soft) shots – I won’t say how many I deleted right off of the camera. A Common Grackle (with a fierce expression) landed the featured image spot because I was afraid not to give it to him.
