Environment:
Start Time: 7:10 AM Temperature: 66 degrees Sky: Sunshine, haze and clouds.
Photography conditions were only marginal this morning out on the trail. An Eastern cloud bank kept the light pretty dim – only improving once we had returned to the car. There wasn’t that much to shoot anyway. Pictured here is a Great Blue Heron giving the Arkansas River a good looking-over. A few Mule Deer were also out doing their thing. Today’s featured image is a Rock Squirrel who paused for a long time (by squirrel standards) to have a good look at me.
