Woodhouse's Toad at Lake Pueblo State Park, Colorado

This morning I got going a little early because I wanted to see if I could catch the setting of the Harvest Moon. Today’s featured image is one of the captures – though probably not the best edit. Still you get the idea. Otherwise there was precious little activity out on the trail. My walking companion is the one who spotted the Woodhouse’s Toad pictured here. Fortunately she did not see the Whitetail Doe that is posted below.

Sightings:
Birds: Mallards, ducks, Double Crested Cormorants, Gulls, Canada Geese, Ospreys, Starlings, Great Blue Herons, Northern Flickers, Killdeer, Belted Kingfisher, American Kestrel, Cooper’s Hawk, Blue Jays
Critters: Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer, Prairie Dogs, Tree Squirrel, Woodhouse’s Toad, Grasshoppers, millions of flying bugs

Gear: Nikon D5600, Nikkor 55-300mm
