Environment:Start Time: 8:35 AM Temperature: 42 degrees Sky: Mostly sunshine. Activity remains low (bird wise) out at Lake Pueblo State Park. There were quite a few human fishermen along and in the Arkansas River which may be why the birds were elsewhere. You can tell things were slow by my posting a European Starling here. Not the most exotic or rare bird out there. Featured are a couple of American Coots who were taking it easy on a midriver rock. There are a lot of Coots on the water this Winter. Despite the moderate temperature of 38 degrees (F) conditions out on the trail were mostly miserable. I was out for less than an hour.
