Having managed to get out to Lake Pueblo State Park with the rising Sun I am really starting to wonder where all the Early Birds are. Is there a worm shortage? Once again, today’s walk ended up with mostly smaller birds burned onto my memory card and even they made it tough. Pictured below is another shot of Canada Geese decorating the Arkansas River. It’s not that I like photographing geese so much as they are practically the only birds on the river. The Osprey were busy flying high and I did see one of the Cooper’s Hawk youngsters but I got no images of any of them.
