Having managed to get out to Lake Pueblo State Park with the rising Sun I am really starting to wonder where all the Early Birds are. Is there a worm shortage? Once again, today’s walk ended up with mostly smaller birds burned onto my memory card and even they made it tough. I did see a couple of the Cooper’s Hawk kiddos but they are expanding their range of activity and improving their ability to not be seen.
