Environment:Start Time: 10:50 AM Temperature: 57 degrees Sky: Sunny with few clouds; light breeze Back to Lake Pueblo State Park this morning. Surprisingly warm temperature really brought out the people – the parking lots were quite well utilized. I cut the walk short today partly due to the number of people out enjoying the park and partly because I was spectacularly over-dressed. I’m going to have to pay closer attention to weather conditions in future. Despite these “problems” there were two bright spots in today’s outing. Environment:Start Time: 8:35 AM Temperature: 43 degrees Sky: Sunny, no clouds, no breeze Mountain Daylight Time arrived today in fine style. Another great day for a walk by the Arkansas River. I was hoping the birds would feel the same – only flying. Unfortunately, the birds were not of the same mind – especially the bigger birds. No Osprey, Hawks or Eagles. As for the smaller birds it was mostly the usual suspects – Sparrows, Belted Kingfishers and Juncos.
