Environment:Start Time: 9:00 AM Temperature: 34 degrees Sky: Bright sunshine. Another chilly morning in Rock Canyon. Featured today is a male Belted Kingfisher who was working hard at finding a meal on the Arkansas River and I caught him with the goods in his beak. Then I saw, on a distant branch, what I thought was another juvenile American Bald Eagle but on closer inspection it turned out to be a Red-tailed Hawk. Still a welcome sight.
