Environment:Start Time: 8:20 AM Temperature: 64 degrees Sky: Sunny, few clouds, moderate breeze Crazy warm this morning. Don’t know if it was this “heat” but there was not a lot happening along the Arkansas River today. I did see a Red-Tailed Hawk circling high in the sky. While I stood hoping s/he would coast my way I noticed that s/he was not alone up there. A smaller bird was vigorously harassing the hawk. Environment:Start Time: 10:25 AM Temperature: 42 degrees Sky: Sunny, few clouds, moderate breeze Moderate temperatures this morning allowed me to get out to Lake Pueblo State Park for a morning walk. Conditions were as close to perfect as you could ask for. Though the bird activity was disappointingly low the Mule Deer were out in force showing off their Winter coats.
