Environment:Start Time: 7:15 AM Temperature: 64 degrees Sky: Scattered Clouds, light breeze The concerns about the absence of birds and critters at Lake Pueblo State Park I expressed yesterday were soothed somewhat today with the appearance of a number of my avian friends. I got chances to shoot a hairy woodpecker and a white-breasted nuthatch but my efforts were not successful. There were a number of what I call “flitty” birds – those are the ones that flit from branch to branch not stopping long enough to be either identified or photographed.
