Last night’s rain fell in Biblical quantities turning some picnic areas into swamps and the unpaved trails into ponds. The Arkansas River water is back to runoff levels and I only saw a few ducks out on the water. Today’s featured image is a lone juvenile Wood Duck drake who is obviously one of the brave ones.
