The weather continues to delight out in Rock Canyon. Fishing was the order of the day- on both the Arkansas River and the Anticline Fishing Pond. I caught Herons on both bodies of water. Featured is a female Belted Kingfisher who was so focused on the river that she landed quite close to me and stayed put for a good amount of time. In total I saw three Kingfishers working the river. The Ospreys were not quite so active but I captured several perched high above the river watching it closely. I did see one Osprey with a catch but it did want me to post its success on the Internet.
