Check out last year’s walk on this day here

I didn’t realize how windy it was this morning when I left the house so conditions at Lake Pueblo were kind of a surprise. The wind, though warm, was quite annoying. I ended up cutting today’s tour down to just a mile because there was not much happening other than leaves blowing all around. It’s kind of funny that last year on this day (November 13, 2020) I complained about the wind as well and only got one shot of a Red-tailed Hawk. This year it’s a Great Blue Heron who gracefully showed me his backside as I approached the bank of the Arkansas River. Winter is coming.
