What birds there were were pretty active but in no mood to be photographed. Posted here is the one Dark-eyed Junco who had a minute to stop and think. While some folks were out taking advantage of Black Friday deals, I, and a lot of others, was out taking an afternoon walk along the Arkansas River. I really kind of prefer late afternoon / early evening walks at Lake Pueblo State Park in the cooler months. Environment:Start Time: 9:10 AM Temperature: 43 degrees Sky: Sunshine, Chilly again this morning at Lake Pueblo State Park. Still a good day for walking by the river. Animal activity, though still low, is starting to pick up. I spotted what I am pretty sure was a Hooded Merganser and there was another new duck that I couldn’t identify.
