Spring-like weather keeps on keepin’ on. The trails are 99% snow free and the mud on the dirt trails is way down. Walking is easy. There were quite a few fishermen on the Arkansas River today and not so many ducks – the Pelican is still hanging around. Today’s featured image is another (or maybe the same) American Bald Eagle. Today he was perched well off the trail so I settled for a long shot. I’ve noticed that I see many more deer on these Winter afternoon walks than I do on Spring/Summer morning walks. Posted below are three Mule doe keeping an eye on some passing dogs. If you can get out to Lake Pueblo State Park this week I would make the effort.
