Got going earlier and was on site at 7 AM. The moderately cloudy sky made the mid-forties temp seem pretty cool. With the sun popping in and out of the clouds lighting was iffy at best.
The birds were not out in force this morning. I did get to see a couple of Northern Orioles and a Blue Jay whom I attempted to photograph. He was so far out in the weeds that the result was less than spectacular. I was glad to be shooting with the Nikon today as I at least got the bird somewhat in focus. I don’t think that would have happened with the Panasonic.
