The days are getting longer now so I have started easing into my Summer walking schedule. We were up early and out the door by 6:30. We were on the trail by 6:45 with the sun well over the horizon but still a coolish temp of 55. I guess I got up before the birds – there was a lot of chatter in the trees but the only activity I saw was various types of birds flying away from me. Got one OK shot of a Mule Deer but she, too, was showing me her back-side.
