Some wicked cold temps finally moderated enough to let me out of the house and onto the trail – camera in hand. After a couple inches of snowfall a day or so ago – the trail was surprisingly dry and mud free. Not a complaint. You can tell that there weren’t many birds around – Dark-eyed Junco gets featured image!? The Owl below is probably better featured fodder but with two pretty good shots (same owl) I wanted to keep them together. Weather for the next couple of days looks promising – lets hope the birds thaw out.
