A cool start to the morning delayed our walk today but we were on the trail by 7:10. No breeze at all with basically clear, sunny skies but temps in the low to mid forties.
I think the coolness of the morning was causing the birds to conserve their energy since very few were out and about and those that were felt no need to be photographed. There was no dazzling fishing exhibition being conducted by the Osprey, in fact, I saw no Osprey at all. The deer were much more active today but also rather camera shy. Since it was such a pretty morning I gave up on wildlife photography and instead settled on shooting one of my favorite scenic views – Liberty Point towering over the Arkansas River. The result is the featured image in this post. I shoot this same view often because it is always different and the dominance of the point is always impressive.
