Environment:
Start Time: 8:25 AM Temperature: 38 degrees Sky: Sunny.
Clear, calm mornings persist. Today’s post is featuring raptors but I did see a good variety of other birds. One that I forgot to mention yesterday is a Western Meadowlark. I saw it posted up on the welcome sign to Lake Pueblo State Park as I drove in both yesterday and today. I’ll try to get a shot if it stays on this territory. Today’s featured image is an Osprey devouring a fish. I guess I’m going to have to show up earlier to get a shot of the bird fishing. Center post is both of the Red-tailed Hawks that are nesting near the river. I’m not sure who is mom and who is dad. There was also activity at the Cooper’s Hawk nest with only one adult staying close.
