Things remain on the mellow side at Lake Pueblo State Park. The high water on the Arkansas River seems to have a calming effect. Below is a scenic shot that kind of sums up the morning. Great conditions but not a lot of motivation. The two goslings featured up top were out with a pretty good gathering of their kind. Three sets of adults – one set with four kiddos and each of the other two with only one. We were all on a narrow stretch of the trail and I had to play it really cool to get past them without becoming goose chow. For added color I spotted a nice clump of Colorado Four O’Clock flowers blooming on my way home.
