Environment:
Start Time: 7:00 AM Temperature: 69 degrees Sky: Sunshine.
Warm weather continues with a near 70 degree starting temp. Only the grasshoppers and mosquitoes seem to be thriving in the heat. Even the Ornate Tree Lizard posted at the bottom seems a little grumpy. I did manage to photograph my first fawn of the year. Today’s featured image is a Mule Deer Fawn I spotted hiding in the shadows doing, I’m sure, exactly what mom told it to do. This is not the first fawn I’ve seen this year, just the first capture. Center post are two of the most photogenic birds in the park. It is almost impossible to take a bad photo of a Redheaded Woodpeckers or Osprey.
