Well, I guess they all can’t be exciting walks. Really not much going on out on the trail this morning. Today’s featured image is a fuzzy shot of a Killdeer blasting up the Arkansas River. Considering the distance away and the speed of the bird I’m willing to cut myself a little slack on the sharpness factor. The Osprey pictured here might be the same bird (in the same place) as yesterday but there is no fish to keep it company. Fortunately I had pictures left over from yesterday so the Northern Flicker and the Hairy Woodpecker shots came in handy to fill out this post.

Sightings:
Birds: Ducks, Mallards, Canada Geese, Gulls, Ospreys, Double Crested Cormorants, Starlings, Crows, Killdeer, Northern Flickers, Blue Jay, Belted Kingfisher
Critters: Cabbage White Butterflies, Prairie Dogs, millions of flying bugs
