Environment:
Start Time: 8:10 AM Temperature: 41 degrees Sky: Total sunshine.
Super clear sky with a good dose of Autumn chill is what met me this morning out on the trail. A few more birds would have been nice. There is still one juvenile Osprey holding down the fort and it gave me a little show from a high perch. Also perched (way) high was the American Kestrel pictured here back-lit by the rising sunlight. These two birds would have comprised my entire post if I hadn’t spotted a Great Blue Heron (featured up top) working the Anticline Fishing Pond just as I was preparing to leave. I only saw one stab at the pond but it was pretty focused on its task.
