Ospreys have returned – right on schedule. Today’s featured image is proof of this fact – not the best picture ever but it’s an Osprey! And that wasn’t the only surprise of the day. Pictured here are two flavors of Bluebirds who showed up to add some much needed color to the landscape. Mamma owl is still toasting those eggs (I assume – though I have no idea how many there actually are.) I also added a new bird to my list – a female Ring-necked Duck was checking out the fishing pond with a couple of Hooded Mergansers. Spring is definitely just around the corner!
