Things started kind of wild this morning. Just as I pulled into the South parking area by the Anticline Fishing Pond I saw that there were three Osprey riding the wind currents above the water. I got out of the car as fast as I could and got to witness an amazing attack on the pond. I lost count of the number of strikes that I saw but most were successful. Sadly the light was very poor so my photos are kind of fuzzy. Still I assembled the sequence at the bottom of this post – each image from a different event. Later on I caught the two Osprey at the top of this post in an intimate moment – doing what needed to be done.
