What looked like another ho-hum (but gorgeous) morning out on the trail ended with some fireworks! Today’s featured image is part of the show I witnessed. An American Bald Eagle was being swarmed by around four Ospreys while trying to fly away with a pretty good sized fish. This all happened quickly and I wish I knew if the eagle had caught the fish or if it had stolen the fish from one of the attacking Osprey. The featured image is one of the action shots (obscured by stupid power lines) that I captured. Pictured below is the eagle with the fish. I also captured an adult Cooper’s Hawk with something in its clutches.
