Featured today is an Osprey family portrait. This is the best shot this year of a family group and, if you look closely, you can just see that there are three new arrivals. Pictured here is a juvenile Cooper’s Hawk who was very fussy and vocal. I think it wanted to be fed but a nearby adult was not being cooperative. I keep thinking that I see something in the Red-tailed Hawk nest but there is little movement to convince me that there is actually an occupant. I’ll keep watching.
