No more wildfire haze! This morning was clear and bright out on the trail. Today’s featured image is an Osprey who was behaving strangely. The bird kept chirping and flying back and forth between two branches. This shot is one of its many launches. Pictured here is a flying bug that caught my eye. Google identifies it as a Pepsis. I also located two of the Great Horned Owls who have been hanging out West of the Osprey Picnic Area. They were a little more active than they usually are so I got some shots with a little more variety than the normal snooze shots. One shot is posted below. I did see the mother Red-tailed Hawk but I could not locate the youngster.
