Another great day to be out walking along the Arkansas River. The Osprey were busier than they were yesterday – I missed a fishing session but got there in time to see the lucky fisherman consuming its catch. Pictured here is the Osprey establishing ownership of the catch with just a look. Today’s featured image is a Cooper’s Hawk who was still adding finishing touches to its nest. The shot is what we in the photography world would call “a little soft” but I still think it is pretty exciting. Looks like I got a new bird today. Below is what Google and I think is an American Pipit.
