This could well be my earliest start in 2022. Things were the way I like them – warm, clear and calm. Today’s captures are kind of on the calm side too – not many of the sexy birds. Today’s featured image (top) is a Western Kingbird who simply demanded the spot. I got one of my best Blue Jay captures but s/he was well off in the distance. I also finally got a picture of one of the Cooper’s Hawks actually sitting in the nest. Posted is the clearest shot I could get – trust me – its in there. I’ve still had no luck finding an Owl.
