Perfect walking conditions were the order of the day early this morning. Lake Pueblo State Park was strangely quiet except for the singing of a Blue Grosbeak (pictured) and the calling of one of the Cooper’s Hawks there was not much chatter. I still managed to spot a few of my less frequent subjects (below) a Black-capped Chickadee and a Western Wood Pewee both perched patiently for me. Today’s featured image is an Osprey giving me an over the shoulder sidelong glance just to let me know he knew I was there. It flew off shortly thereafter.
