Not a lot going on this morning at Lake Pueblo State Park. Only three Osprey were around or over the River Bend Nest – one in the nest, one perched nearby (left) and one circling high over the Arkansas River (bottom). For today’s featured image I have a young Mule Deer buck who was hanging out in the deep shadows letting his antlers develop. No Redheaded Woodpeckers – young or old – were anywhere to be seen.

Sightings:
Birds: Canada Geese, Mourning Doves, Ospreys, Starlings, Double Crested Cormorants, American Robin, Northern Flickers, possible Yellow Warbler
Critters: Cabbage White Butterflies, Grasshoppers, Mule Deer, Prairie Dogs, Widow Skimmers, Dragonflies
Gear: Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II, Lumix 100-300mm
