Eastern Kingbird at Lake Pueblo State Park, Colorado

Got going a little earlier this morning which allowed for a bit cooler temperature to start out. Still plenty of haze but no air quality alert – not sure why because it doesn’t look much different from Tuesday. Birds were still a scarce commodity but the Mule Deer were out and about – I saw two sets of twins this morning – one set pictured below. For a featured image I managed to get a Blue Jay who happened to stop for a tenth of a second. This is not the best photo but it is one of my better efforts for a Blue Jay. I also managed to find some other perching birds – an Eastern Kingbird, a Great Blue Heron and an Osprey (actually three Osprey if you look real close at the tree scenic posted below there are two Osprey perched way up high on the right.)
