Back on the trail after returning from a special pet sitting assignment up North. All pets survived. I was hoping that my absence would have lured some birds out of hiding but that didn’t happen. Really low activity again today. Well, the Ospreys were kind of busy as today’s featured image (top) demonstrates. I didn’t see any of them fishing but one of the juveniles was perched with a fish. Wish I knew if the catch was its own. Pictured here (poorly) is what Google says is a Black-chinned Hummingbird. I’ll finish off today’s post with a shot of the Anticline Fishing Pond being lit up by the rising Sun and some Wild Sunflower blossoms also enjoying the morning light.
