Rock Squirrel at Lake Pueblo State Park, Colorado

Pleasant conditions prevail though the wildfire haze is starting to creep back into the scene. Very little bird action to record. I caught one little Rock Squirrel exploring the erosion control rocks along the bank of the Arkansas River. I did shoot another Wild Sunflower but I won’t subject you to that. What I did do today was bring along my infrared camera to see if I could get something interesting. I think I did. Shooting in the 665 nm spectrum I got today’s featured image (above) of the view looking southeast over the Arkansas River. Looks like an Autumn scene but it ain’t. Below is another shot of the Cottonwood trees viewed with the rising Sun in the background. Something a little different.
