Not a lot going on this morning at Lake Pueblo State Park. With no breeze to speak of it was a little on the warm side but the fire haze was minimal and some of my feathered friends were feeling like being photographed. Nothing real spectacular happened though I did return to the area where I got that Lazuli Bunting yesterday and got another crack at him. I think today’s effort beats yesterday’s but still not featured image material. For that I have posted (above) what I believe to be a juvenile Common Grackle checking out the bank of the Arkansas River. Other appearances were made by a Western Wood Pewee, a Great Horned Owl, a Northern Flicker and my old friend the Mississippi Kite.
