Today’s trip was brief and only a little spectacular. I cut things short mostly because of the relentless mosquito attacks and the fact that I was shooting with my heaviest camera/lens combo which does to enhance my mobility. There wasn’t much going on either. Pictured below is one of the Osprey parents who was having a rough morning with a determined attack by a Western Kingbird. The Osprey eventually took off in an effort to shake off the annoyance. I did not see the baby Osprey. Only two other birds (and one Owl) bothered to pose for me – the Western Wood Pewee pictured here and the Bullock’s Oriole below. Featured is an early Summer scenic with an interesting sky.
