Osprey activity was high this morning at Lake Pueblo State Park though mostly limited to them flying around and dodging attacks from Western Kingbirds. I did see a couple of them hauling nesting material back home. I was unable to locate any Great Horned Owls, adults or youngsters, though I did catch sight of a juvenile Cooper’s Hawk. Pictured below turns out to not be the Monarch Butterfly that I thought I was shooting but a Queen Butterfly which is a new one for me.
