Old Man Winter isn’t giving up without a fight and delivered a pretty chilly morning out on the trail. As far as I can tell there is only one Osprey back from its southern Winter Tour. This bird is the featured image today – shown hauling some nest fix-up material back home. There was a Red-tailed Hawk that circled high above me but never too close. The busiest birds were (as always) the European Starlings who are grouping up on the ground to dine on whatever it is they dine on and then lifting off in unison to try their luck elsewhere.
