The first full day of Spring ’24 is upon us. I’m kind of thinking the birds have gone off on Spring Break. The American Kestrels are a bit more active and I caught one Osprey bringing home a fresh catch (featured) but that about sums up today’s walk. Watching the owls nest is mostly like watching grass grow – I guess mamma owl is resting up for the brood’s eventual arrival. I did see a Spotted Towhee but it managed to stay off of my memory card – at least in focus.
