Today it’s Owls and Osprey. Once again I delayed taking my walk until warmer temperatures prevailed. Afternoons are nice but are often more challenging when it comes to finding birds to shoot. This was not the case today. I found three Great Horned Owls decorating the trees while waiting for their day to get started. Of course, one of them is waiting for the owl stork to arrive. The two owls pictured here are, I believe, the mated pair that belong to the nest I have been watching. The featured image is an Osprey taking what is left of its catch (pictured being caught in the shot at the bottom of this post) away from my prying lens.
