A chilly but tolerable temperature lured me out early this morning. Things are still pretty quiet out on the trail – I think everyone is concentrating on nesting and family planning. Pictured here is an Osprey bringing some food into the nest – presumably to share with its mate. I saw two Great Horned Owls both settled well into their environment. Featured today is a Northern Flicker who was sitting in such good light that I couldn’t stop myself from grabbing a picture.
