Earliest start of the year at 6:10 AM with the temperature already at 55. Weather forecast is for wind today so I decided to try to beat it to the river. Things were active bird-wise but not people-wise which is just the way we like it.

There was a little more action at the Starling nest. Today the adults were quite busy bringing in food for, not one, but two little Starlings whose heads were well out of the nest. The photo I got was not great but I have included it in the gallery below.

Sightings:
Birds: Starlings, Robins, Swallows, Barn Swallows, Wood Ducks, Kingbirds, Osprey, Bullock’s Orioles, Blue Jay, Cormorant, probable Kestrel, Killdeer, Turkey Vulture, Canada Geese
Critters: Cottontail Rabbits, Mule Deer
