Environment:
Start Time: 5:45 AM Temperature: 39 degrees Sky: Sunshine.
Even with the sunshine it was a bit chilly out on the trail this morning. There was a lot of Starling and Dove activity (as usual) but the Osprey were also very active today. Mostly they had somewhere else to be but there was one couple who were enjoying each other – enough said. I saw a number of Osprey fishing dives but all of them were either too far away or in too dark of a spot or both. I did get the capture below of two birds gliding over the fishing pond looking for an unlucky fish. One Magpie also favored me with a pretty close flyover. Today’s featured image is not the greatest shot ever but it is not the group of Cormorants that I thought it was when I made the capture but a good sized group (how many make a flock?) of White-faced Ibises! This is the second time this year that this has happened. I wish I could figure out where they are congregating.
